GASTONIA, NC : Man killed when Mustang crashes, flips in Gaston County on Friday, 31st May 2019

The Highway Patrol is investigating a crash Friday morning that killed a Gaston County man driving a Ford Mustang, according to our partners at the Gaston Gazette.

A heavy first responder presence could be seen lined along Lewis Road in south Gastonia, near Crowders Mountain, following the wreck, which happened around 6:30 a.m.

A first responder on the scene told Channel 9 the driver was killed.State troopers, police, firefighters and EMS responded to the scene.
