Cincinnati, OH : Driver killed in crash on I-75 ramp in Cincinnati on Tuesday night, November 11, 2014

A 46-year-old man died Tuesday night from injuries sustained in a crash on a ramp from Interstate 75 toward Downtown. Anthony Braun was exiting I-75 South on to 5th Street in Cincinnati at about 9:05 p.m. when he lost control of his 2007 Dodge Nitro and struck a guardrail, according to a news release from police. He was not wearing a seat belt. Authorities transported Braun to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, but he died at the hospital from injuries sustained in the crash. The Cincinnati Police Department's Traffic Unit is investigating the crash. Alcohol and speed appear to be factors. The ramp from I-75 was closed for about an hour as crews investigated the scene.
