Chicago, IL : Woman killed in rollover crash on Bishop Ford Expressway early Monday, July 11, 2016

A woman died and three other people were hurt during a rollover crash early Monday on the Bishop Ford Expressway, authorities said.

The single-vehicle crash happened around 1:05 a.m. on the southbound ramp of Interstate 94 to eastbound Interstate 80, according to Illinois State Police.

The woman, whose exact age was not immediately available, was pronounced dead on the scene, state police said.

Three other people in the car suffered non-life-threatening injuries. One of them was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center. Two were taken to Franciscan St. Margaret Health, state police said.

As of 3:40 a.m., officials blocked off the lanes on the I-94 ramp as they investigated the accident.

The road is expected to be shut down in the area for about two more hours, state police said.
