Coshocton, OH : Toddler injured during four-wheeler crash in Coshocton County on Sunday afternoon, March 5, 2017

A 2-year-old boy suffered serious injuries Sunday afternoon when the four-wheeler he was riding on with his grandmother overturned at a Coshocton County property.

The boy, Mason Bales, was reportedly flown by MedFlight to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus after suffering head injuries. Additional information regarding his condition was not available as of press time today.

The all-terrain vehicle operator, Sharon Kaufman, 45, was not injured in the accident.

According to reports, emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the scene after Kaufman lost control of the ATV and it struck a ditch, ejecting both Kaufman and Bales.

The boy reportedly suffered head contusions and a facial laceration.
