Sioux Falls, S.D : Three injured in crash near Madison on Thursday night, November 10, 2016

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash just east of Madison Thursday night.

A 2006 Ford Explorer was driving northbound on Highway 19 and had stopped at the intersection of Highway 19 and Highway 34, said Department of Public Safety spokesman Tony Mangan. The Explorer pulled out to turn and was hit by an eastbound Jeep. The crash happened just before 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

The driver of the Explorer, Debra Feldhaus, 70, of Ramona, did not have any injuries. Charges are pending.

Three passengers in the vehicle were injured.

Toni Marko, 60, of Madison, had minor injuries.

Carla Fischer, 51, of Madison, and Vicki Miller, 59, of Winfred, both suffered serious non-life threatening injuries.

All four women were wearing seat belts.

The driver of the jeep, Kimberly Dunkley, 21, of Madison, suffered serious non-life threatening injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
