Emergency crews responded Thursday night to a vehicle accident on the interstate involving at least one North Carolina State trooper, according to the NC Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 10:45 p.m. on southbound I-85 near Sam Wilson Road, which is Exit 29. Officials have not released many details, but did confirm that a Trooper vehicle was involved.
There is no word on injuries, and no names have been released.
