LEWISTOWN, PA : Two killed in Juniata County crash on Sunday, 16th September 2018
Two people, including a 17-year-old driver, were killed in a one-vehicle crash in Juniata County early Sunday morning.
According to State Police at Lewistown, 17-year-old David Boyle, of Mifflintown, lost control of a Mazda sedan at 12:11 a.m. Sunday along Rockland Road in Fayette Township, Juniata County.
Police said Boyle lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason and the car struck a telephone pole and tree.
Boyle and Matthew Reichert, 20, of McAlisterville, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other men, Zebadiah Graybill, 19, of Mount Pleasant Mills, and 20-year-old Nathan Landis of McAlisterville were in the back seat. They were transported to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries according to police.
The investigation into the crash continues, police said.
