Brooklyn, NY: One person was dead in crash on Sunday September 28th 2014.

Police have arrested a Brooklyn man for allegedly leaving the scene of an accident that killed a pedestrian in Manhattan. Police charged 25-year-old Beltran Macgyver with leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in death. The incident occurred Sunday near Union Square. Officers responded to Fifth Avenue between 16th and 15th streets after receiving a 911 call of a pedestrian struck. Police say 33-year-old Doohee Cho was crossing the street when he was hit by a sedan that fled the scene. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
