Joplin, MO : Joplin man injured in motorcycle crash on Saturday, 10th March 2018
A Joplin man was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries after his motorcycle overturned on loose gravel on Highway 76 west of Cape Fair, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
John D. Cruzan, 53, lost control after his 2009 Kawasaki hit the gravel and overturned around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. No one else was involved in the accident.
• Two children were hit by a 77-year-old Sulphur Springs, Arkansas, man when the kids went to retrieve a ball on Highway 59 just south of Noel, the state patrol said.
Twelve-year-old Tafadi Ruan, of Noel, and 8-year-old Olivia Kosmes, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, were struck by John Ackerman's 1989 Chevrolet Suburban about 5 p.m. Saturday.
