The York County coroner has identified a woman killed in an early morning car crash on Route 15 south in Franklin Township early Friday morning.

Geraldine Thomas, 73, of 180 Century Lane, Dillsburg, died after she turned into the path of a truck at the intersection of Hickory Road at 5:52 a.m., the coroner's office said.

Following the crash, Thomas' vehicle caught fire, and she died at the scene. No one else was in her vehicle.

The condition of the other driver was not immediately clear.
