BATON ROUGE, LA : Two separate crashes involving nine vehicles cause major traffic delays on LA 1 on Wednesday, 31st January 2024

At least nine cars were involved in two separate crashes early Wednesday morning, causing heavy traffic delays on LA 1 and I-10 West.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced all lanes were reopened on LA 1 South on the Intercoastal Bridge before 7:30 a.m.

All lanes open on LA 1 South on the Intercoastal Bridge. Congestion remains on I-10 West on the Mississippi River Bridge. Congestion on I-10 West approaching Bluebonnet. Congestion I-12 West approaching Airline Highway.
