GREENE COUNTY, IN : 25-year-old Bedford man killed in motorcycle crash southwest of Bloomington on Saturday, 27th July 2024

A 25-year-old Lawrence County sheriff's deputy died in a motorcycle crash Saturday night in Greene County, southwest of Bloomington.

Just after 11 p.m. July 27, Greene County sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a motorcycle crash on East State Road 445, near Interstate 69.

According to the sheriff's department, the motorcyclist went off the road for an unknown reason. When deputies arrived on scene, the man was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
