MOBILE COUNTY, AL : Mobile County deputy killed in single-vehicle crash on Theodore Dawes Road on Sunday, 2nd July 2023

A deputy passed away early Sunday morning during a single-vehicle crash in Mobile County, Alabama.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the accident happened at approximately 3:55 a.m. on Theodore Dawes Road.

Troopers say 64-year-old Leo A. McCall was fatally injured when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned.

When troopers arrived on scene, they say they found McCall deceased.
