Dallas, TX : Car collides with Fort Wayne fire truck in crash near the 2400 block of West Jefferson Boulevard on Monday, 9th December, 2019

The wreck happened around 11:15 a.m. west of downtown, near the 2400 block of West Jefferson Boulevard. A silver Honda crashed into the driver's side of Fort Wayne Fire Department Engine No. 2.

Four firefighters were in the truck; none were injured, said Adam O'Connor, a spokesman for the department. The driver of the car was taken to the hospital.

It's not clear whether the fire truck was moving at the time of the crash.

Traffic was moving along the busy street, as crews worked to move the car and clean up debris from the crash.
