FRANKLIN CO, OH : Two people injured in crash between car and bicyclist on W. Broad St on Friday, 2nd September 2016

One person was taken by helicopter to a local hospital after a crash on West Broad Street near the Franklin and Madison counties border.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, at about 8:15 am, Friday, troopers were called to W. Broad Street on the report of a crash near the Madison County line.

Troopers say two people were injured in the crash between a bicyclist and a car, and one person was flown to an area hospital.

West Broad Street was closed in the area while troopers investigated but all lanes have reopened.
