Clive, IA : Car collision abruptly ends chase involving central Iowa police on Thursday afternoon, June 18, 2015
A car chase involving police ended abruptly in central Iowa when an uninvolved vehicle collided into the lead car.
The Clive Police Department says 43-year-old Sandra Ann Johnson, of Des Moines, was driving a car Thursday afternoon when an officer initiated a stop. Johnson is accused of driving away and eventually running a red light.
A vehicle traveling with the right of way because of a green light collided into Johnson's car.
Johnson was taken into custody with a minor injury. The driver of the other car was not hurt.
Johnson faces several charges, included driving while barred and eluding. Court records do not list an attorney.
