Boulder, CO : Car-bike collision in Boulder injures cyclist on Thursday, February 16th 2017
A cyclist was injured after a collision with a Jeep near the intersection of 28th and Colorado Avenue on Thursday evening.
Sgt. Robyn VanDerLeest said that the cyclist and vehicle were eastbound on Colorado Avenue at about 5:30 p.m. when they proceeded through the intersection at 28th and Colorado.
The driver of the Jeep prepared to make a right turn into the Frontage Road to the east of the intersection and collided with the cyclist, VanDerLeest said, adding that it wasn't clear exactly who collided with whom.
She said the cyclist suffered a head and shoulder injury and was taken to the hospital for a CT scan, although the cyclist did not appear to have life-threatening injuries.
She added that traffic police were still investigating the crash at about 6:20 p.m.
