Nashville, TN : One person is injured after car crashing into a building in north Nashville on Tuesday, April 19th, 2016

A driver has minor injuries after crashing into a building in north Nashville.

The abandoned building is located on the corner of 28th Avenue North and Albion Street near the Tennessee State University campus.

Officials on scene said they believe the woman slammed into the building after exiting Interstate 40, driving through the intersection and jumping an embankment.

Police are still working to figure out what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
