Louisburg, N.C : Firefighter killed, another injured after truck overturns in Franklin County Tuesday afternoon on September 16, 2014

A firefighter was killed and another was injured after a fire truck overturned. According to WRAL, the tanker truck overturned Tuesday around 5:00 p.m. in Franklin County. The Franklin County Sheriff's Office said the truck was headed to a call when it overturned after hitting a culvert in the Louisburg's Lake Royale community. Franklin County Sheriff Jerry Jones said the driver died and the passenger is being treated at a hospital. They have not released the names of the firefighters.
