Hillman, MN : Two men injured after the vehicle struck a tree in Morrison County on Sunday morning, May 1, 2016

Two men were injured after the vehicle they were traveling in struck a tree.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a car crash at about 2:15 a.m. Sunday morning.

The sheriff's office said Douglas Sherwood, 55, of Brooklyn Park was heading north on 370th Avenue when his vehicle went into the ditch. His vehicle ended up hitting a tree.

Sherwood was traveling with 39-year-old Jason Flak of Ham Lake.

Both men were taken to by ambulance to the hospital. The Morrison County Sheriff's Office did not know the conditions of either man's injuries.

The Hillman Area Response Team, Onamia Ambulance and Pierz Fire Department assisted at the scene.
