BOCA RATON, FL : Three people were injured, one seriously, in a crash near Boca Rio on Sunday, 4th March 2018

Three people were injured, one seriously, Sunday evening in a crash near Boca Rio and Palmetto Park roads, near the Florida’s Turnpike west of Boca Raton, Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue reported.

Crews were called about 5 p.m. and found heavy damage and a pole broken in half from the impact of a vehicle, Capt. Albert Borroto said.

He said one person was taken to a trauma hospital via Trauma Hawk and two went to area hospitals by ambulance.

Borroto did not provide additional details or say whether the damaged vehicle was the only one involved.
