Yakima, WA : Parker woman injured in I-82 crash early Friday, March 31, 2017

A Parker woman was injured early Friday when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed on Interstate 82, the Washington State Patrol reported.

Troopers say Kelly R. Smartlowit, 41, was traveling east on I-82 just before 1 a.m. when she lost control of her 2005 Ford Explorer between the Yakima Avenue and Nob Hill Boulevard exits.

Smartlowit, who was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, was taken to Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital, according to the patrol. She was treated and released.

Troopers said Smartlowit would be cited for driving under the influence.
