Harrisburg, PA : 2 airlifted from East Berlin Road crash Christmas Eve on Monday, 24th December 2018
Hampton Firefighter Eric Sponseller spreads absorbent material following a crash where both drivers were flown to York Hospital Monday evening. The crash occurred on East Berlin Road (state Route 234) shortly after 5 p.m. They were both trapped in their vehicles, requiring extrication by firefighters from Hampton, United Hook & and Ladder and East Berlin. It took about 15 minutes to extricate both of the drivers. The crash occurred about 300 feet west of the intersection with Peppytown Road and involved a Hyundai Sonata, right, and a Toyota Sequoia. Fire police rerouted traffic around the scene for more than two hours.
