Louisville, KY : Woman killed in car accident on Zorn Ave. on Sunday, April 17, 2016

A woman died after being hit by a car overnight in Louisville, Metro Police said.

WHAS-11 reported a white SUV hit a woman and killed her at the intersection of Zorn Avenue and Cleveland Boulevard. Police said the pedestrian was not in the crosswalk.

It is the fourth deadly crash in Louisville this weekend and police are attributing the spike in crashes to the warmer temperatures.

The metro traffic unit is investigating and have not ruled out any causes for the crash.
