CHEROKEE COUNTY, SC : Coroner identifies woman dead days after Cherokee Co. crash on Saturday, December, 16th 2017

The coroner says a woman injured in a crash last week has died from her injuries.
Coroner Dennis Fowler said 70-year-old Linda R. Pridmore of River Tree Road in Gaffney was injured in a two vehicle wreck on December 11.
Pridmore passed away Saturday at 7:41 p.m. at Spartanburg Medical Center where she had been hospitalized since the crash.
Fowler said Pridmore was headed south in a 2003 Pontiac on Pleasant School Road around 3 p.m. on December 11 when she disregarded a stop sign and struck a 1998 Ford pick up truck at the intersection of Grambling Ferry Road.
Pridmore's vehicle then ran off the right side of the road and struck a ditch before stopping in a field. She was not wearing an incident during the crash and was ejected from the vehicle, said Fowler.
An autopsy will be performed to assist with the investigation.
Fowler said Pridmore is Cherokee County's 20th traffic-related death of 2017.
