Lincoln, RI : Four people injured after a crash on Route 99 on Sunday, January 3, 2016

Police say four people were hospitalized following an afternoon crash that occurred just outside Pawtucket along state Route 99.

The accident took place just before 4 p.m. Sunday near Sayles Hill Road in Lincoln.

Police say two vehicles were involved in the incident, one of which came to rest on its roof.

The victims, who weren't identified, were hospitalized with unknown injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
