Child dies of injuries from Friday accident

An 8-year-old boy injuried in an accident Friday in Woods County has died of his injuries.Kaden Dewayne Johnson, of Wewoka, died Saturday at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.Derek Ray Johnson, 29, of Wewoka, who also was injured in the accident, is in critical condition with head, trunk, arm and leg injuries, according to the report.The accident happened at 7:30 a.m. Friday on the Dacoma blacktop nearly one mile south of U.S. 64.
