One man was taken to a local hospital after crashing his motorcycle on Milford Street about 3:30 p.m. Friday.
He was driving on Milford toward Clarksburg when his motorcycle malfunctioned, Clarksburg Officer B.T. Boetker said. The back wheel locked up and he skidded, lost control and laid the bike down in the roadway.
Harrison EMS transported him to a local hospital.
The wreck occurred between Magnolia and Liberty avenues. Police closed down Milford Street for about 15 minutes near Rich Oil and the scene of the crash, Boetker said.
Clarksburg Fire Department also responded.
