Fontana, CA : Young man dies in vehicle accident on 210 Freeway in Fontana on Saturday, 24th September 2016

A 21-year-old man died in a vehicle accident on the 210 Freeway in Fontana on Sept. 24, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner's Division.
At 7:08 p.m., officers with the California Highway Patrol responded to a crash on the westbound 210, east of Beech Avenue.
The investigation revealed that Daniel Herrera, a resident of Ontario, had been traveling westbound when he struck the guard rail and then a vehicle that was parked on the shoulder of the freeway, the Coroner's Division said.
Herrera was transported to San Antonio Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:53 p.m.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
