Northwest Tarrant County, TX : Connor Stouder, 18, died in a wreck near Eagle Mountain Lake on Friday evening

A young man from Fort Worth was killed in a wreck Friday evening in unincorporated Tarrant County, according to the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department.

The crash was reported about 5:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of West Bonds Ranch Road and Morris Dido Newark Road, a rural three-way intersection near Eagle Mountain Lake in northwest Tarrant County.

Sheriff’s Department spokesman Terry Grisham said that a preliminary investigation showed that a Kia vehicle failed to yield right of way while turning left onto Morris Dido Newark Road, and the driver’s side door was struck by a northbound pickup.

The Kia driver was taken by helicopter ambulance to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, where he was pronounced dead. The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office identified the victim as Connor Stouder, 18, of Fort Worth.
