Fresno County, CA : One person was killed in car crash on monday around 5.p.m Fresno County May 12th 2014.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating a car accident that killed one person in Fresno County.

The crash happened around 5 p.m. Monday near Goodfellow and Riverbend. CHP officers tell Action News that a Dodge Dakota was traveling toward a Toyota Tacoma, when it traveled across the road and hit the other truck head on.

The driver of the Toyota was killed. The other driver had moderate injuries and was taken to the hospital. Investigators say both drivers were wearing their seatbelts, and airbags in both trucks deployed.

Alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in this accident.
