Linden, NJ : One killed, four injured in early morning crash on Sunday, 14th March 2021

One woman was killed and four others were injured in an early morning crash Sunday in Linden, police said.

The woman, a 24-year-old from Elizabeth, was killed when the car she was in was involved in a two-car crash on the bridge between Elizabeth Avenue and East Linden Avenue. The woman and a male passenger were ejected from the car.

Police said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene and the man was taken to a hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Three people in the second car were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
