Jacksonville, FL : Motorcyclist critically injured in a crash on State Road 23 and Argyle Forest Boulevard on Tuesday morning, Nov 24, 2015

A motorcyclist was critically injured Tuesday morning in a crash at the intersection of State Road 23 and Argyle Forest Boulevard.

The accident occurred about 7:45 a.m. and the intersection was blocked while the Florida Highway Patrol investigated the crash.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, Sean Lewis, 40 of Middleburg, was traveling north on SR 23 when his motorcycle flipped and slid into a pickup truck driven by 79-year-old Ed Harris.

Harris, who was not injured, had turned left onto SR 23 from Argyle Forest Boulevard, FHP said.

Charges are pending in the crash.

According to the report, Lewis was wearing a helmet.
