WHITMAN COUNTY, WA : Deadly crash south of Pullman leaves traffic gridlocked on Wednesday, 20th March 2024

Hwy. 195 was blocked in both directions Wednesday afternoon after a crash involving a dump truck and a van.

According to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), the crash happened around 12:30 p.m. near Bauer Rd. between Uniontown and Colton.

Washington State Patrol (WSP) Sgt. Greg Riddell confirmed to KXLY that this was a head-on crash, resulting in at least one death. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
