Racine County , WI :61 Years old Retired deputy was killed after lost control of his pickuptruck andd hitting utility Pole on Saturday , January 10th 2015

A former Racine County sheriff's deputy was killed in a crash Saturday night.

It happened near Highways C and 45 in the Town of Yorkville.

The sheriff's office said a pickup truck lost control and ended up hitting a utility pole.

Gary Gage, 61, died at the scene. He was wearing a seat belt.

Gage joined the Racine County Sheriff's Department in 1989 and retired in 2012.

The crash continues to be investigated.
