Shelbyville, KY : Lawrence woman dead and three others injured on Monday, July 3, 2017

A Lawrenceburg woman was Killed Monday afternoon in a two vehicle crash on Mount Eden Road.

Kentucky State Police Spokesperson Bernice Napier said that Connie Kinder, 65, was killed in the accident and that three others, Betty Brown, 70, and Anna Edgar, and 89 and Deborah Bobbs, 56, were all taken to the University of Louisville; Bobbs with serious injuries and Brown and Edgar with minor injuries.

Shelby County Chief Deputy Coroner Jeff Ivers said that Kinder was pronounced dead at Jewish Hospital Shelbyville shortly after the accident occurred at around 3 p.m.

Napier said that Kinder, who was traveling west on Bonnie Brae and failed to yield to a Kia driven by Brown who was traveling north on Mount Eden Road.
