Ormond Beach, FL : Driver was dead after the vehicle crashed into a Wendy’s restaurant at 170 Williamson Blvd On Wednesday, May 25th, 2016

The driver of an SUV was found dead after the vehicle crashed into a Wendy’s in Ormond Beach early Wednesday, according to police.
Woodrow W. Fennell was leaving his newspaper delivery route just after 3 a.m. when his 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe left the parking lot at 170 Williamson Blvd. "at a high rate of speed," crossed Williamson and crashed into a Wendy's, Ormond Beach

Police said in a news release.

The Santa Fe completely entered the dining area of the restaurant at 75 Williamson Blvd. before coming to a stop.
Fennell, of Ormond Beach, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. No other injuries were reported.

Police said the driver may have suffered a medical episode before the crash.

The crash is under investigation.
