FLEMING ISLAND, FL : 47-year-old bicyclist hit, killed by pickup truck on US 17 in Fleming Island on Monday, 1st January 2024

A bicyclist was struck by a pickup truck Monday evening on U.S. 17 near Clay Street in Fleming Island, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The 47-year-old Fleming Island man riding the bike was not wearing a helmet and died from his injuries, the report said.
