WICHITA, KS : 1 critically hurt after hit-and-run crash in south Wichita on Sunday, 6th October 2024

The Wichita Police Department (WPD) confirmed a woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in south Wichita.

WPD said officers responded to a report of a hit-and-run in the 2900 block of S. Hydraulic around 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

WPD said officers located a woman who was struck by a vehicle. After speaking with witnesses, WPD said the vehicle involved is a white Dodge pickup.

The Wichita Police Department is investigating the incident.
