Daytona Beach, FL : Ponce Inlet couple killed in car crash in central Florida on Sunday, May 1, 2016

A Ponce Inlet couple were killed on Clyde Morris Boulevard when police said the 62-year-old turned into the path of another driver.

Gary Miller, 62, died at the scene of the 5 p.m. Sunday crash at Clyde Morris and Hancock boulevards. His wife, Deborah White Miller, 62, died Monday morning at Halifax Health Medical Center, police said.

Investigators said Gary Miller was heading east on Hancock at the same time that George Hatzimouratides, 28, of Port Orange, was driving south on Clyde Morris.

Gary Miller attempted to make a left turn onto Clyde Morris and drove into the path of Hatzimouratides, police said.

The front bumper of Hatzimouratides' car slammed into Gary Miller's driver's-side door, killing him instantly, police said. Deborah Miller was taken to the hospital where she died of her injuries, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
