Reading, PA : Eight people injured after a three-vehicle accident in Richmond Township on Sunday, March 26, 2017

Eight people were taken to local hospitals after a three-vehicle accident Sunday on Route 222 in Richmond Township, police said.

The accident occurred about 11:05 a.m. and forced the closure of Route 222, which is also Kutztown Road, between Richmond and Richmaiden roads, said Fleetwood police, who also patrol the township.
The road was closed for about an hour.
