WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, SC : Fatal crash on US 52 leaves 1 dead in Williamsburg Co. on Thursday, 13th June 2024

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating after a Thursday night collision left one person dead.

Troopers reported that the crash took place at 10:22 p.m. on Hwy 52 at Coleman Rd. A 2019 Ford F150 was stationary, facing east, when it was struck by a 2018 Kia Sol traveling west.

Officials say the driver of the Ford was not injured, but the driver of the Kia was pronounced dead.

The Williamsburg County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the name of the deceased.
