GAINESBORO, TN : 2 rescued from water in Jackson County crash on Friday, 27th September 2024
Three people were injured, with two rescued from a creek, after a car drove off the road in Jackson County, according to Jackson County EMS.
A car was traveling on Hudson Creek Highway near the Jackson County and Macon County line when it left the roadway and landed in a nearby creek. JCEMS said they were dispatched to the scene at around 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
When they got there, two people were still trapped in the vehicle with water up to their neck and chest. First responders began working to get them both out.
Four people were inside the vehicle. Three of them, including those trapped in the vehicle, were hurt. They were all taken to the hospital. The fourth passenger, a juvenile, was not injured in the crash.
