MANSFIELD, MA : Two people escaped serious injury on Monday, July 24, 2017
Two people escaped serious injury early Monday when the car they were traveling in struck two utility poles and parked cars in East Mansfield.
The victims were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton with injuries that were not life- threatening, according to the fire department.
Police are charging the driver, Stephen Wordell, 33, of Easton, with driving to endanger, driving without a license, failing to drive within marked lanes and speeding. He will be summonsed to Attleboro District Court at a later date, according to police.
The accident occurred around 1:30 a.m. Monday at North Street and Route 106.
