Enid, OK : Enid man cited after leaving scene of accident on Thursday, 25th August, 2016
An Enid man was cited for multiple violations after leaving the scene of an accident Thursday morning.
At 10:37 a.m., Enid police, fire and Life EMS responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of 16th and Pine.
Maria Marquez, of Enid, was driving a Chrysler Pacifica north on 16th when Orlando Orosco, of Enid, ran a stop sign on Pine, according to an Enid Police Department report. Marquez's vehicle struck Orosco's Dodge truck, which ran over the stop sign and up into the yard of a residence at the northeast corner of the intersection, according to the report.
Orosco got out of the vehicle and fled on foot. He was located later and cited for leaving the scene of an accident, driving under suspension, driving without insurance and running a stop sign.
