Kansas City, KS : I-70 back open after fatal wreck in Leavenworth County on Thursday, January 26th 2017

A fatal traffic crash Thursday morning prompted authorities to shut down the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 in Leavenworth County for several hours.

The scene of the crash was just before the Lawrence service area along the Kansas Turnpike.

The westbound lanes were reopened early Thursday afternoon after being closed for several hours.
