Bluefield,WV : Route 460 near Grundy closed due to crash on August, Sunday 6th 2017

A “really bad traffic accident” has closed all four lanes of Route 460 near Grundy in Buchanan County.

Emergency dispatch said multiple rescue agencies are on the scene as well as a helicopter. The accident occurred around 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

The crash is in the Vansant area near the intersection of Lover’s Gap and Route 460.

Dispatch said all four lanes are estimated to be closed for several hours.

No further details are available at this time, but it is a “very serious” accident, dispatch said.
