A motorcyclist was killed Thursday in a vehicle accident in Salisbury.
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on E. Innes Street near Avalon Drive. Police said that a person on a motorcycle collided with a car.
Claude Richard Breedlove, 68, of Rockwell died in the crash. He was riding a 2004 Yamaha motorcycle. Breedlove was struck by a 2006 Buick being driven by Katherine Lyerly, 85, of Salisbury.
Police say Lyerly was driving on E. Innes Street and turned left onto Avalon Drive into the path of the motorcycle.
They said the incident is still under investigation.
Findings will be given to the District Attorney to determine if charges will be filed.
