POLK COUNTY, FL : 3 dead in Polk County crash at the intersection of Marigold Avenue on Tuesday, 12th March 2019

Three people are dead following a crash in Poinciana Tuesday night, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

It happened around 7:20 p.m. at the intersection of Marigold Avenue and Bell Tower Crossing East where officials said a red car crossed over the centerline and struck a white sedan head-on that was traveling southbound.

A Polk County Sheriff's Office deputy pulled the driver of the red car, 19-year-old Emmanuel Semedo out of the vehicle and attempted to perform CPR, but he died on scene.
