GREENVILLE, SC : Traffic Crash in Greenville knocks down power lines on Wednesday, 28th August 2024

Greenville police said crews were called to a crash caused power lines to be knocked down on Wednesday.
Officers said the incident happened at around 4:33 p.m. near North Pleasantburg Drive and Sweetbriar Road. Officials have blocked all lanes of traffic in that area with the exception of one detour lane if traveling toward Bob Jones University.
As of 10:38 p.m., Duke Energy’s website states about 140 customers are currently without power.
Power is expected to be restored by 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
